The features of NuMicro® M030G/M031G series microcontrollers make them suitable for optical transceiver applications. The series is equipped with the following 5 key features: small-sized package including QFN24 3mm x 3mm and QFN33 4mm x 4mm, built-in temperature with high accuracy ±2 °C under -40°C to 105°C, high-speed I²C interface that can reach 1 MHz in Slave Mode, built-in hardware Manchester Codec for optical communication to do Manchester Code transformation, and premium DAC which supports Auto Data Generation Function to generate the smooth sine waveform in Manchester Code rapidly by cooperating with Manchester Codec. 

Besides the above features, the M030G/M031G series is equipped with 4 sets of DAC and up to 16 channels of ADC, making it more flexible for applications by integrating the plentiful analog peripherals in this small-sized IC. In addition to optical transceiver applications, the M030G/M031G series microcontrollers are also adopted in applications of sensors, small screens, small home appliances, power modules, pico projectors, and wearable devices.
