Telephones can be divided into digital and traditional telephones. The difference between the digital and traditional telephones is transmission signals are analog or digital signals. The digital telephone calls are not susceptible to interference and less likely to be tapped and have advantages such as easy expansion and wire saving. Due to the need for high-speed A/D conversion, high-speed data processing, and digital signals computing, the NuMicro M051™ is suitable for digital phone applications.

NuMicro M051 series provides a high-performance and low-cost 32-bit  Arm® Cortex®-M0 core, runs up to 50 MHz at 2.5 V ~ 5.5 V, -40℃ ~ 105℃, and supports 32-bit hardware multiplier with hardware divider, 64 KB Flash and 4 KB SRAM, highly integrated 12-bit ADC and high sample range 1 MSPS, high-precision 22 MHz oscillator to reduce system BOM cost, and rich peripheral such as I²Cx2, SPIx2, UARTx2, Anti-theft lock code bit, 96-bit Unique ID and 128-bit Unique customer ID, and strong Anti-jamming ability (ESD 8kV, EFT 4kV) . NuMicro M051 series is a very cost-effective digital phone solution.
