KA49703A is an IC for lithium-ion battery measurement and monitoring. It incorporates a high-resolution ADC, enabling highly accurate measurement of battery cell voltages and current levels.Despite its compact 48-pin QFP package, the device can monitor up to 16 battery cells. It also features a daisy-chain function that supports up to 55 devices connected in series, making it ideal for high-voltage applications such as battery backup units for AI server and large-scale energy storage systems.In addition, KA49703A achieves a voltage measurement accuracy with a maximum error of ±2.9 mV and includes alarm output functions for detecting overcharge, overdischarge, and abnormal high- or low-temperature conditions.KA49703A contributes to improved safety, higher quality, reduced size, and lower power consumption in Battery Management Systems (BMS).
