Nuvoton Technology Corp. is committed to achieving high standards of environmental, safety and health (ESH), and providing a safe and healthful workplace for all employees. We will comply with applicable regulatory requirements, and implement best practices to prevent occupational injury, illness, environmental pollution and property damage.
We emphasize individual responsibility for preventing incidents and losses by all employees and at all levels of management. Employees at all job levels are required to follow applicable ESH procedures. We will continuously improve our ESH performance by promoting employee health and reducing work related injury rate, water and energy consumption, key chemicals usage, as well as the emissions of greenhouse gases and major pollutants;. We firmly believe that “Design for ESH” concept is the key to a sustainable enterprise.

The occupational health and safety management system
Nuvoton Technology was certified against the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system again in 2022. The occupational health and safety management system covers all the operation sites of Nuvoton Technology in Taiwan (Taipei, Hsinchu, Zhubei, and Tainan). The management system encompasses all the necessary processes and the interactions in between, which is put into practice. It is continuously promoted following the P-D-C-A cycle and the spirit of ceaseless improvement on a yearly basis. Hence, it seeks to attain the goal of establishing a quality workplace and prevent personnel hazards, environmental pollution, and asset losses.
