What is the Periodic Operation mode for Timer controller?  Issue Date:2015-02-10

In Periodic Operation mode, the Timer will reset the 24-bit Timer counter and restart to count from 0 when each time the value of 24-bit up-counting Timer counter matches the setting of TCMPR (Timer Compare Register). At this moment, the Timer interrupt event flag (TIF) will be set by hardware and the interrupt signal is generated.
