Door Access control system

The solution provides hardware encryption and decryption engine to accelerate the encryption and decryption process to ensure sufficient security. The Ethernet supports TCP/IP networking and up to eight ADCs to detect backup battery status and support other sensor requirements.

The architecture of door access control system contains

1.

Reader at the front end ( button type, RFID card reading type, fingerprint identification type, face recognition type ):

  • Read the identity authentication data and transfer it to the access controller for comparison
2. Backend access controller ( TCP / IP networking, RS485 networking ):

  • Store / Compare / Upload legally in and out identity data
  • Store / upload in and out records
  • Responsible for communication with the background host
  • Control door lock switch
3. The final host of the background:

Reader at the front end

The reader at the front end can be divided into different types according to the identity authentication method:

1. Push-button type ( using 8-bit, Cortex-M0 grade MCU )

  • 8-bit: ML51 ( low power consumption ), N76E003 series
  • Cortex-M0: NUC029, M031, M251 ( low power ) series
2. RFID card reader type ( using 8-bit, Cortex-M0 / M4 grade MCU )

3. Fingerprint identification type ( using ARM9, Cortex-M4 grade MCU )

  • Optical: ARM9 NUC970 series
  • Capacitive: Cortex-M4 M480 Series
4. Face recognition type ( using ARM9 grade MCU )

Backend access controller

The access controller of the back end can be divided into different communication interfaces according to the connection background:

1. TCP / IP ( Ethernet ) networking ( using ARM9, Cortex-M4 grade MCU )

2. RS-485 networking ( using Cortex-M4 grade MCU )

Single or separate access control system

Traditional access control systems use RS485 and background communication. In recent years, almost all newly developed access control systems have used Ethernet and background communication. In general, the entire building ( managing multiple doors ) has a separate architecture ( the reader is separated from the access controller, one access controller is for multiple readers ), and the small business or home apartment Most use a single-machine architecture ( the reader and the access controller are integrated into one complete machine ).
