Old streets, old houses, and old facilities are existing states of old communities; the promotion of renovation of old communities in cities and towns is an established policy, but it is also something that residents urgently need, in which the demand for elevator installation is most obvious. Nuvoton proposed an elevator with a screen solution that has core control systems including the elevator system and image display system, in which the NuMicro^® N9H30 microcontrollers with HMI solution is adopted for the image display system, and the NuMicro^® NUC1311 microcontroller with CAN BUS is adopted for the elevator system. 

The elevator system includes the main control board, hall call board, and internal call board, in which the CAN BUS is used as the bridge for communication, and they all use NuMicro^® NUC1311 as the processing core. The main control board controls the motor and accepts floor instructions from the hall call board and internal call board; the hall call board needs to display the floor position and call the elevator while the internal call board can control the floor to stop; they are connected with the display system to display the current floor number and related images. The image display system processes multiple image formats, and the resolution of the images can reach 1024 x768.
