Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. –Nuvoton Technology (TWSE: 4919) held Board of Directors meeting today (28), and approved the third Quarter of 2010 financial statements audited by CPA. The consolidated revenue for the third Quarter of 2010 is approximately NT$2,044 million, a decrease of 8% compared to the second Quarter of 2010, an increase of 3% from the third Quarter of 2009. A net income of NT$282 million, an approximately decrease of 6% compared to the last Quarter and EPS of NT$1.36, an increase of 74% from the third Quarter of 2009. For 2010, Nuvoton posted an accumulated revenue of NT$6,150 million, an increase of 17% YoY, net income of NT$758 million, an increase of 123% YoY,, and earnings per share of NT$3.68. Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. - Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. - July 31, 2012 - Nuvoton Technology Corp. (TWSE: 4919) yesterday announced the financial results for the second quarter of 2012, the net income hit the record high, and the second quarter EPS was NT$ 1.49. Today (31) Nuvoton held the Investor Conference to report the second quarter operation result and forecast economic condition of the third quarter of 2012. The consolidated revenue of the second quarter of 2012 was approximately NT$2,237 million, an increase of 37% from the previous quarter. The net income was NT$309 million, an increase of 209% from the previous quarter and an increase of 47% compared the second quarter of 2011. The gross margin of the second quarter of 2012 was 42.3%, an increase of 1.9% from the previous quarter. The revenue was approximately 78.9% from IC Business, and 21.1% from Foundry Service Business divided by the business groups. For IC Business, quarter over quarter, revenue increased 31.

Nuvoton Technology Corporation (TSE: 4919) and its headquarters, Winbond Electronics Corporation (TSE: 2344), held a conference call today (3) to report the Q4 operating results in 2014 and their prospects in Q1, 2015. The operating revenue in the fourth quarter was about NT$ 1.519 billion, with net income totaling around NT$ 30 million and earnings per share of NT$ 0.15, an increase of 25% compared to the fourth quarter of 2014. For all of 2014, the operating revenue was about NT$ 6.822 billion, with net income totaling around NT$ 343 million and earnings per share of NT$ 1.65, an increase of 32% compared to 2014. Nuvoton stated that revenue during 2014 increased compared to 2013 due to ARM® Cortex® - M0 32-bit MCU applications and audio IC growing, and increased demand in PC. The gross margin rate during 2014 increased compared to 2013 because of better product mix and production yields. Nuvoton Crystal-less USB Solution – The Best Promoter for Compact and Slim Products To ensure an accurate communication, USB products require a precise and stable clock source. The clock source should be free from the temperature and electrical interference to avoid any communication failures or crashes. When designing the product, developers usually use external crystals to generate a precise and stable clock source. At least 1 crystal and 2 load capacitors are required in the design; however, these components often result in a less than ideal yield during the PCBA process. When assembling the capacitor, the cold solder tends to cause start-oscillation failures.
