The N538T260, a member of the ViewTalk® family, is an 8-bit microprocessor (uP) with a speech and melody synthesizer and 64SEG x 32COM LCD driver unit, which includes an internal regulator, pump circuit and two pages of dedicated LCD RAM. The N539TP340 is an OTP version of ViewTalk® family. It inherits from N539T000 (ICE chip) and could be configured to different set of features and matches to different mask-rom versions. The features are mainly an 8-bit 6502 CPU, a high sound quality speech and wavetable melody synthesizer, and a 2000-dot LCD driver unit. Also provided are a charge pump circuit, two pages of dedicated LCD RAM, and a 4-level grey scale LCD display to provide good quality, sharp pictures. The N539TP340 can synthesize 8-channel speech and/ or wavetable melody, while simultaneously display LCD. It offers multiple power modes to minimize power dissipation according to applications of different uses of speech, melody, and LCD display.
