The NCT3730S is a high performance low dropout positive voltage regulator designed for use in applications requiring very low input voltage and very low dropout voltage at up to 3A current rating. With a dropout voltage of 210mV at 3A, this device can operate with VIN as low as 1V and with an output voltage programmable to as low as 0.8V. An enable pin further reduces power dissipation while in shutdown. The NCT3730S provides excellent line and load regulation over temperature, and provides a Power Good indication when output voltage reaches 90% of its rating value.
