High-performance NuMicro® Family Arm Cortex®-M4 based Microcontroller (MCU) with FPU and DSP extension

The NuMicro Family Cortex-M4 based MCUs provide high performance system design up to 90-240 DMIPS operating at up to 72-192 MHz. When executing from the embedded Flash memory, the power consumption can be lowered to 130 μA/MHz with dynamic power scaling function supported by the M480 series.

The NuMicro Family Cortex-M4 based MCUs are composed by the following product series.

  • M460 Series: Provides up to 200 MHz core frequency, 1.7 V~3.6 V operating voltage, -40°C to 85°C/105°C operating temperature, up to 1024 KB of Flash memory, up to 512 KB of SRAM, and certified IEC60730-1 Class B Software Test Library (STL). Targeted for IoT gateway, industrial control, telecom and data center applications.
    • M467 Ethernet/Crypto Series – Provides up to 200 MHz core frequency, 1024 KB Flash memory, 512 KB SRAM, Ethernet 10/100 MAC, hardware crypto engine, Key Store, true random number generator (TRNG), programmable audio PLL, HyperBus interface (HBI), external bus interface (EBI), USB HS/FS OTG, 4 sets of CAN FD, up to 24-ch 16-bit PWM, 3 sets of 12-bit 5 MSPS ADC, 2 sets of 12-bit 1 MSPS DAC, and 4 sets of analog comparators.
    • M463 CAN FD/USB HS Series – Provides up to 200 MHz core frequency, 256 KB Flash memory, 128 KB SRAM, AES, Key Store, TRNG, USB HS OTG, 2 sets of CAN FD, up to 24-ch 16-bit PWM, 1 set of 12-bit 5 MSPS ADC, and 2 sets of analog comparators.

  • M480 Series: 192 MHz CPU, up to 2.5 MB of Flash memory, up to 160 KB of SRAM memory, Quad-SPI interface with XIP (Execute in Place), and 16-bit I80 QVGA LCD
    • M481 – 192 MHz PWM, dual 200 Mbps SDHC, 5 MSPS 12-bit ADC, and 1 MSPS 12-bit ADC.
    • M482 – USB 2.0 Full Speed device/host/OTG with integrated FS transceiver and 1 KB data buffer.
    • M483 – Dual CAN 2.0B, dual USB supporting High Speed (HS) OTG and Full Speed (FS) OTG

M4_M480_Series

  • M471 Series: Targeted for smart home appliance applications. Provides 72/120 MHz core speed, 2.5 V~5.5 V operating voltage, -40°C to 105°C operating temperature, 64-512 KB of Flash, 32-64 KB of SRAM, certified IEC60730-1 Class B Software Test Library (STL), and a variety of packages with wide pin pitch.
    • M471 V/K Series – Provides 120 MHz core speed, 512 KB Flash, 64 KB SRAM, customize IR receiver (CIR), up to 24-ch, 16-bit PWM, 1 set of 12-bit, 1.8 MSPS ADC, 1 set of 8-bit, 200 kSPS DAC, 2 sets of analog comparators, and pseudo random number generator (PRNG).
    • M471 M/R1/S Series – Provides 72 MHz core speed, 64/128 KB Flash, 32 KB SRAM, up to 12-ch, 16-bit PWM, 1 set of 12-bit, 1 MSPS ADC, and 1 set of USB 2.0 FS Device/Host with integrated transceiver (crystal-less at Device mode).

    • M451 – 144 MHz PWM, 1 MSPS 12-bit ADC, and 1MSPS 12-bit DAC
