Nuvoton TPM NPCT6xx

Hsinchu, Taiwan –2015/10/14 – Nuvoton Technology Corporation announced its NPCT6xx Trusted Platform Module (TPM) family implementing the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) version 1.2 specifications for PC-Client TPM, supporting LPC, SPI and I2C host interfaces. The NPCT6xx is the first TPM to achieve Common Criteria (CC) with assurance level EAL 4 augmented, FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) 140-2 level 1 and TCG certification. All supported within a single device.

Trusted Platform Module (TPM) technology is designed to provide hardware-based security-related functions. A TPM chip is a highly secured crypto-processor that enables protection of sensitive data such as keys, passwords and digital certificates, and provides trustworthy reports of system integrity and states.

The NPCT6xx family features high performance 32-bits processor, crypto engine, large NV storage, secured GPIOs, pre-installed EK and EK certificates and Field Upgrade to next-generation TPM 2.0. The NPCT6xx family is now in volume production, samples are available in the TCG-recommended TSSOP28 and QFN32 packages.
