Nuvoton Technology Corporation (“Nuvoton”, formerly known as Logic Product Group of Winbond Electronics Corp.), is to launch several new 32-bit MCU products in 2012 for various application markets, including NUC123 series with USB 2.0 full-speed device, NUC200 series with the enhanced NUC100/120, and Nano100 series with ultra-low power at 200 uA/MHz (Normal) and USB and Touch-key features. The new product lines enable MCUs to meet the “3 High, 3 Low” trend: high performance, high speed, and high compatibility; low price, low power consumption, and low cost, and aim at the applications in consumer electronics, mobile devices, USB applications, industrial controls, networked communication, automotive electronics, medical and health equipment, card readers and others. In response to global awareness of energy saving and carbon reduction for environmental protection, Nuvoton will lead product applications toward a comprehensive energy conservation trend. After the successful launch of the ARM® Cortex™-M0 NuMicro™ family in 2010, Nuvoton continues to focus on the development of a new generation of microcontroller (MCU) families. Meanwhile, the prospect for the development of the 32-bit MCU has attracted wide attention, and the cost-effective 32-bit MCU shows the explosive power of the exciting growth by the industrial control, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, high-speed computing and communications control applications. A major common characteristic of the newly developed products is the emphasis on low-power consumption and the green energy-saving design concept that has been directly imported to MCUs to drive the comprehensive energy-saving action for a variety of applications.

From Nov.13 to 28, Nuvoton will hold the " NuMicro™ Cortex™-M0 32-bit MCU Symposium 2012 " touring around 13 cities, including Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Beijing, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. In addition to the in-depth introduction to the latest products and technologies of NuMicro™ Cortex™-M0 32-bit MCUs, on-site demonstrations will help participants quickly grasp the essence of technology applications.

Nuvoton will continue to expand the MCU product lines to offer highly competitive low-power, cost-effective 32-bit MCUs to meet market and customer needs. Website for Symposium Registration click here.
