To address a range of Internet of Things (IoT) developer demands, Nuvoton debuts its comprehensive set of IoT solutions - the NuMaker series of development platforms. The ARM® Cortex®-M processer family-based platforms feature communication gateways, routers and sensors. The platforms can either be used as stand-alone devices or freely combined with other platforms for faster IoT solution creation and deployment.

The Arduino Compatible Platform provides users with a simple and standard software and hardware environment that is easy to expand, making it ideal for learning and developing sensor device applications.

The IoT Engine platform is developed by Nuvoton and Ubiquitous Computing Technology Corporation based on the TRON Association IoT-Engine standard platform. This platform has a complete sensor device application, based on IEEE 802.15.4, supports 6LoWPAN standard and CoAP protocol, as well as provides 6LoWPAN router and cloud service (IoT-Aggregator).

The Mbed Enabled development platform is based on the Arm® Mbed™ OS and supports a variety of communication networks, encryption and CoAP protocol for a variety of sensing node device applications. Cooperate with the Mbed™ Cloud to provide consistent device deployment and management, as well as online firmware updates.

This provides different applications for users who want to quickly design innovative applications for the IoT. There are integrated and combined sensing modules that can be connected to the Internet or with a mobile APP to complete the planning and design. There is also Linux platform to connect various communication modules and Ethernet networks, is suitable for routers or gateways.

 NuMaker-PFM-M487_V2.0(Mbed)

 

The NuMaker PFM-M487 is based on the NuMicro® M487 Ethernet series MCU with Cortex®-M4F core. The 512 KB embedded dual bank Flash memory supports OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware upgrade, and the 160 KB embedded SRAM includes 32 KB cache to speed up external SPI Flash code execution. It is a powerful development platform ideal for IoT application. Its system frequency is up to 192 MHz, and is equipped with security, communication and device management modules. Supported functions include high speed USB OTG, full speed USB OTG, MicroSD card interface,etc.

       
  NuMaker-PFM-NUC472 (mbed Enabled)  

The NuMaker-PFM-NUC472 is based on Arm® Cortex®-M4F, clocked up to 84 MHz, built-in 64 KB SRAM, 512 KB Flash, 1MB external SRAM and Ethernet interface, buzzer, tri-color LED, button, microphone, earphone, USB OTG, three-axis accelerometer and three-axis gyroscope sensor, etc.

The NuMaker PFM-NANO130 is based on Nuvoton low-power MCU named as NANO130 with Arm® Cortex®-M0 core, the CPU clock is up to 42MHz, embedded with 128 KB Flash and 16KB SRAM.

The NuMaker Brick is an open source IoT platform including a combination of sensors and module which can work independently or be arranged in any order. The NuMaker Tomato is a single board computer (SBC) with simple layout. It adopts the developer-friendly open source environment and runs on the Linux operating system. It is embedded with the 32-bit ARM926EJ-S NUC976DK62Y processor core which runs up to 300 MHz. Tomato supports Python interpreters, allowing users to generate scripts and program codes directly without the need of a compiler. It is the perfect solution for makers to create various types of customized router or gateway applications.

       
  NuMaker Uni  

The NuMaker Uni leaves 20 multifunctional pins unprogrammed to allow more flexibility in design. In low power mode, it consumes less than 1µ of electricity. With small dimensions of 3.5cm by 3.5cm, it is especially suitable for wearable devices. It integrates the 802.11 b/g/n WiFi module and Bluetooth module.
