The NCT6126D is a member of Nuvoton’s Super I/O series designed for PC applications requiring industrial temperature operation and more than 2 UARTs. The NCT6126D provides 6 UARTs, each UART including a 128-byte send/receive FIFO and RS485 auto flow control. In addition, it also provides printer port, KBC and GPI/O.

The NCT6126D monitors several critical parameters in PC hardware, including power supply voltages, fan speeds and temperatures. Both high accuracy current mode and low cost thermistor temperature sensors are supported. It also supports Nuvoton’s SMART FAN^TM I and SMART FAN^TM IV algorithms for fan speed control.

The NCT6126D implements Intel® PECI, AMD® SB-TSI interface, Intel® S0iX glue logic, Port 80 diagnostic messages on both LPC & eSPI interface, LED control to indicate system power states and power saving control function to further reduce the power consumption while the system is at S5 state.

The NCT6126D supports both LPC & eSPI interface to communicate with chipsets.

The NCT6126D operating temperature follows industrial standard, or -40℃ ~ +85℃.
