The explanation of Ishikawa(Noto peninsula) Earthquake
Our production capacities in Toyama Prefecture, Hokuriku region, Japan, including the joint venture front-end foundry fabs, TPSCo (Note 1) with Tower Semiconductor Ltd, and back-end assembly fabs. Following a magnitude 7.6 earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1, 2024, at 4:10 PM local time, we immediately initiated emergency safety procedures. Now, the safety of all employees, offices, and buildings has been confirmed. Comprehensive inspections are currently underway for facilities, tools, and equipment, with a concurrent assessment of the expected recovery time.
