EC & NB Keyboard Controller
Nuvoton launches a series of LPC interface EC/KBC (Embedded controller/Keyboard Controller) for IA and mobile system applications. This series of products is based on Nuvoton’s Turbo 8052 micro-processor core, speeds up to 12/24MHz with 256 bytes RAM, 2KB SRAM, and internal 64KB embedded flash memory (or shared flash memory for ISA or SPI I/F). The products provide two channels of SMBus with Master/Slave mode, three PS/2® port interface, four PWM channels, two DAC channels and eight ADC channels for battery charging, four timers, RTC and CIR. For Mobile PC application, they also provides internal keyboard matrix scanning with 8*16, 8*18, and 8*20.
